Marie Curie is the symbol of International Year of Chemistry 2011. The Research Center for Materials Science, Nagoya University, hold poster exhibition of Marie Curie in Japanese originally made by the French at The Curie Museum and Curie Institute in Paris.

Celebrating International Year of Chemistry 2011, The Research Center for Materials Science, Nagoya University presents a poster exhibition of Marie Curie.

These posters were originally made by The Curie Museum and Curie Institute by the French Scientists in Paris. The Research Center for Materials Science, Nagoya University has translated them to Japanese and has worked concisely with the French to present this opportunity to our University and community. 

The poster exhibition consists of four sections:

Part 1  Warsaw - Paris (1867-1895)

Part 2  A common work (1895-1906)

Part 3  Ordeals and Successes (1906-1918)

Part 4  An international figure (1918-1934)

Each of these posters are beautifully designed and you can engross yourself in the many interesting pictures of Marie Curie and her life encompassed in these work of art. Please come visit us and be part and celebrate The International Year of Chemistry together!!
