Women in Chemistry

A 4 women panel will be selected to share their activities / research in topics related to sustainability, for example resource efficiency and electronic waste; nanotechnology applications; structural coloration; and modern battery technologies.

In order to promote objective a: Increase the public appreciation of chemistry in meeting world needs; c: generate enthusiasm from the creative future of chemistry; d, celebrate the 100th anniversary of Mme. Curie Nobel Prize, a seminar on sustainable chemistry will organized for the week (August 22-26) ending on August 28, 2011.

 

A 4 women panel will be selected to share their activities / research in topics related to sustainability, for example resource efficiency and electronic waste; nanotechnology applications; biofuels; and modern battery technologies. Introduction to the event would cover IYC and Mme. Curie work resulting in the Nobel Prize.

 

The event dates matches the lottery slot to increase visibility. At least one guest speaker would be international/foreign.
