Weather and Science Day with the Colorado Rockies

Colorado Weather and Science Day will teach elements of chemistry, physics, weather and sound to thousands of students at Coors Field in Denver. Students will participate in hands-on demonstrations to learn about elements of chemistry.

Weather and Science Day will take place on Tuesday, May 17th at Coors Field. Steve Spangler Science, along with 9News Denver and the Colorado Rockies will bring Colorado school children to Coors Field to take part in science and chemistry demonstrations. The students will learn about weather elements, the properties of different chemicals and reactions when mixed and the science of sound. Over 8,000 students from across Colorado are expected to participate. The goal is to send the students home with a deeper understanding and excitement for chemistry and science learning.
