Full-scale snakes and ladders game to investigate chemistry of plants and foods through the use of the 5 senses.

The idea is to design and produce a full-scale game to be broadcast to students from every type of school, their families and for adults.
This game, a path in the style of snakes and ladders, gives participants a way to investigate the chemistry of plants and foods of common use, discovered through the use of the 5 senses. The game focuses on issues such as the active ingredients of medicinal plants, the botanical elements that characterize them, their use in culinary and medical field and is designed to offer users a cognitive approach based on personal experience, experienced during the game. For this reason, the pawns are the players themselves, who are personally experiencing the course of which they are protagonists. The special boxes placed along the way offer the opportunity to deepen their knowledge through questions of different difficulty, or by offering interactive stations in which to test knowledge through touch, smell and sight. The whole course is led by a "mediator", which explains the rules, follows the development of the game and introduces the player to the interactive stations.

Topic: chemistry education, hands-on activities Audience: students, general public, school children, secondary school students
