ISEF2011 -the largest and most visible science & engineering fair for high school students in the world. About 1500 students vie for $4 mililon in awards and 20% + have filed patent applications on their project.
The INTEL International Science and Engineering Fair is the largest and most visible science fair in the wworld . It will be held May 9-14, 2011 at the Los Angeles (CA) Convention Center. About 1500 high school students compete for about $4 million in awards, interact with scientists and engineers as judges, hear from Nobel prize winners, and network with their internationla peers. If history is any guide, then 20-30% of these high school studnet have or will file patent applications on their projects. This is news!
