World Record in Period Table of Chemistry

I will make an attempt to create a world record by writing all the 118 symbols of the periodic table of chemistry in the fastest possible time.

I am delighted to inform that I have created a world record by writing the 118 symbols of the periodic table of chemistry in a record time of 91.65 seconds.

The world record was created at Press Club of India, New Delhi at 3 PM on 22nd Apr 2011. The record was created in the presence of :

1)    Prof (Dr) P.T. Manoharan, F.N.A., F.A.Sc., F.T.W.A.S., F.W.I.F. He is  a Ramanna Fellow of the Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India and Raman Chair Professor for Science Education, IGNOU, New Delhi;

2)    Mr Rakesh Kumar Gupta, IAS. He is additional secretary, UPSC, Government of India.

3)    Mr Sanjay Bansal, IRS. He is Director, Department of chemicals & petrochemicals, Government of India.

The gathering included people from various media organizations. The vedio clipping of the record, made by ANI ( Asian News International ) is available at numerous websites.  The links to these websites are available on the right hand side.
