All nature - all chemistry
The Viennese Museum of Natural History is famous for its collections and ranks one of the top 3 in the world. Additionally it demonstrates the end of the 19th century “Ringstrassen”-architecture. During the International Year of Chemistry it offers a written in a popularguided tour throughout the entire museum explaining the chemical background of the biological outcome in a popular humorous way and in the form of infotainment. So the aim of this exhibit is for visitors without in depth chemistry education so that they can understand the miracles nature provides by making available the chemical explanations in a clear, understandable way, avoiding formula wherever possible.
So the Austrian chemical society is celebrating the IYC 2001 by going public - come and enjoys it.
