A series of up to 9 careers of chemists will be highlighted with descriptions of what the chemist is doing and the chemistry behind. Some of the careers will come from the academic, private and public sector, like customs, metrology, forensics, environment, health, teaching, quality control, production, etc
In order to promote objective a: Increase the public appreciation of chemistry in meeting world needs; and b: increase interest of young people in chemistry a series of career descriptions from local chemists will be documented.
A series of up to 9 careers of chemists will be highlighted with descriptions of what the chemist is doing and the chemistry behind. Some of the careers will come from the academic, private and public sector, like customs, metrology, forensics, environment, health, teaching, quality control, production, product and process design. One example each month April-December.
The material shall be available in electronic form from the webpage and printed version. The logo of IYC will be included in the graphic design, together with the Colegio de Quimicos logo.
