The “First Open Days on Chemistry” will be held at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Málaga by next April 27th and 28th of 2011 under the title “First Open Days on Chemistry”, on occasion of the “2011: THE INTERNATIONAL YEAR OF THE CHEMISTRY”.

This “First Open Days on Chemistry” is conceived as an innovative academic event aimed at disseminating among undergraduate students, bachelors in Sciences, Ph.D. students and young researchers the state-of-the-art of the research in Chemistry which is currently performed at the Faculty of Sciences.

The “First Open Days on Chemistry” will be held through different types of sessions, during two days, including:

- Exhibition of posters on investigations carried out at Secondary Schools regarding Chemistry.

- Open session of posters and oral presentations on the research in Chemistry performed at the Faculty of Sciences.

- Visit to Chemistry Departments at the Faculty of Sciences.
