Chemistry and Molecular Sciences COST Day

This Information Day will provide you with the information about how you can participate in COST and benefit from the COST programme. It will include presentations about the COST programme, its scope and funding mechanisms, on how COST can help and support academics, scientists working in industry and early-stage researchers.

 

 

On behalf of the COST Office (European Cooperation in Science and Technology), its Chemistry and Molecular Sciences and Technologies (CMST) Scientific Domain, the Malta Council for Science and Technology and the Department of Chemistry of the University of Malta, we are pleased to invite you to the COST-CMST Information Day which is being organized at the University of Malta Students House on Wednesday 2nd March 2011 between 9.30am and 11.30am. 

This Information Day will provide you with the information about how you can participate in COST and benefit from the COST programme. It will include presentations about the COST programme, its scope and funding mechanisms, on how COST can help and support academics, scientists working in industry and early-stage researchers. In addition, the current Actions (projects) that you could join within the Chemistry and Molecular Sciences and Technologies Domain will be presented. You will also be able to meet the representative from the COST Office CMST Domain, the Chair of the CMST Domain Committee, the local representatives and the current Maltese participants in CMST COST Actions who will answer any questions you may have. 

Actions supported so far by the CMST Domain range from those related to Culture and Heritage Conservation and the Actions related to Biochemistry and Medical Applications. In Malta COST is represented by the Malta Council for Science and Technology (MCST).

Participation for this meeting is free of charge, but it would be useful if you pre-register on http://www.mcst.gov.mt/events.aspx?nid=258.
