The Art of Science captures the connections between artists and scientists, and between science and art. The exhibition features paintings from the Royal Society of New Zealand’s fascinating visual archive of portraits of prominent present and past scientists plus interpretive text telling the individual stories of the scientists portrayed – their innovations and successes. Curated by award winning science and exhibition writer, Rebecca Priestley.
This exhibition is a partnership between the New Zealand Portrait Gallery and the Royal Society of New Zealand and is proudly sponsored by Resene Paints.
Open to the public at Shed 11 in Wellington from 31 March to 22 May
