The 17th European Symposium on Organic Chemistry (ESOC 2011) will be held at Hersonissos, in Crete, Greece, from the 10th to 15th July, 2011.
The well established ESOC Symposia provide a forum for broad scientific and technological exchange among researchers worldwide. These congresses are the main European conferences dedicated to organic chemistry and related areas.
ESOC-2011 will focus on new achievements in the following areas of organic chemistry:
- Total Synthesis of Natural Products
- Catalysis in Organic Synthesis
- New methods in Organic Synthesis
- Medicinal Chemistry
- Bioorganic Chemistry & Chemical Biology
- Supramolecular Chemistry
- Synthesis of Functional Materials
- Physical Organic Chemistry
The ESOC-2011 (www.esoc2011.com) is organized by the Division of Organic Chemistry, University of Crete.
This chemical congress will be an exciting event to celebrate the IYC 2011.
I believe it can be recognized as an official IYC 2011 activity.
