Chemistry conference covering all aspects of chemistry
The aim of the Sixth Jordanian International Conference of Chemistry is threefold. The first is to review, assess and share information on the most scientific and technological advances in the various fields of chemistry. The second is to create the opportunity for chemists from within this region and other parts of the world to gather as one community, discuss and share their findings and research, and to explore the possibilities of mutual cooperation. The third important aim is to use the activities of the conference to increase public awareness of the importance of chemistry in daily life and to stimulate an interest in chemistry in our young population.
The conference will be held betwen April 19 and 21, 2011 at Yarmouk University, Irbid, Jordan. It is being expressly organized to acknowledge and celebrate the international year of chemistry.

I think this conference is held once per 2 years but this time is exceptional because of iyc
but what else dr the jordanian chemical society will do?
I would like to discuss some very basic problems in learning Bohr's theory of hydrogen atom. The discussion is very important to physics and chemistry, both. For details, see my "activity" dated 19th November 2010
