The booklet "CHEM - NEWS XX: Chemikalienpolitik - die Perspektive 2020" is the contribution of the Austrian Environment Ministry (BMLFUW) to the YoC.
The Austrian Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Water Management is responsible for chemical´s policy in Austria. The booklet "CHEM - NEWS XX: Chemikalienpolitik - die Perspektive 2020" is the contribution of the Austrian Environment Ministry (BMLFUW) to the YoC. It collects a number of experts´ views about the current chemcial´s policy (predominantely based on European legislation REACH and CLP) and of perspectives for the next decade. Expected innovations include developments in areas such as products policies, toxicology, nanotechnology and green chemistry. The booklet is aimed to inform the interested public on the status and development of chemcials management and to inspire discussions about future opportunities and challenges.
