Writing contest for young students on Madam Curie’s biography

We will hold a writing contest for young students describing their impression on Madam Curie’s biography to stimulate their interest in chemistry.
Title: Writing contest for young students on Madam Curie’s biography.
Purpose: To stimulate young students interest in chemistry.
Application term: December, 2010 - April, 2011
Applicant class: Applicants are devided into two classes; (A) elementary school students (4th - 6th graders), (B) junior high school students (all graders). The total number of applicants is estimated to be 500 - 1,000.
Commendation: Several awards for each class will be determined in Jun, 2011. The award winers will be announced on some newspapers and web sites.
Screening: By the screening committee containing teachers in primary, junior high and high schools and universities.
