Dear young chemists all around the world,
it is a great pleasure for us to announce the "13th Spring Symposium 2011" organized by the young chemists of the German Chemical Society (GDCh) taking place in the International Year of Chemistry (IYC) in the baroque city of Erlangen (Germany).
We cordially invite you to this great event, which is certainly more than just a platform for scientific exchange. It is also about socializing, extending your network and meeting old and new friends!
We encourage you, young chemists from all fields of chemistry, to present your scientific work in form of a poster or short talk. In addition, plenary speakers and invited lecturers from academia and industry will present their current research and hot topics. They will give a short introduction into where science will lead us in the future and address the issue of science and society. The interesting scientific program will be accompanied by, typically Bavarian social activities. After the official conference program we will have a great conference-party together in one of the most popular locations in Erlangen.
It would be a great opportunity to celebrate the IYC with all the people working together on interesting topics of chemistry - our life, our future! It is a great opportunity to extend the international network of young chemists, caring about our future, developing our future and becoming friends!
We are looking forward to welcoming you in Erlangen!
your JCF Erlangen-Nürnberg
