The Norwegian Society for Mass Spectrometry (NSMS) has the great pleasure of inviting you and your colleagues to the 14th MS-winter meeting. The Seminar will take place 23 – 26 January 2011, and is held at the Quality Hotel & Resort Hafjell, 20 km north of Lillehammer.

Our academic program takes place every day after lunch. The time before lunch can be spent as desired, but is meant for meeting old and new friends and business colleagues. Hafjell is perfect for all sorts of winter sports and activities. For those of you who are not very fond of such activities, it is also possible to take a gondola ride (gondolheisen) to Hafjelltoppen for a cup of coffee, while admiring the view.

In addition to the seminar, there will be arranged a course in basic mass spectrometry. The course will be free of charge and is suitable for anyone who wants to brush up on old skills or who just want a professional input. The course takes place between lunch and the user meetings held by some of the instrument suppliers and exhibitors on Sunday afternoon. Poster displays and exhibition from the suppliers are integrated and available throughout the meeting.

Topic: conferences, celebrating chemistry, seminars, chemistry education, networking, workshops, analytical chemistry Audience: students, professional chemists, educators, industrial chemists, professors, general public, universities, post graduate students, teachers, research scientists, women chemists
