Hands-on chemical experiment activities for elementary school children to promote the understanding of and interest in the wonders of chemistry.
“Wakuwaku Rika Jikken Kyousitsu” is hands-on chemical experiment activities for elementary school children to promote their understanding of and interest in the wonders of chemistry. It will be held for ten times during the period from January through December 2011 at The National Museum of Nature and Science (Ueno,Tokyo). The events are now being planned as follows (not fixed yet):
・Dates: Jan 15, Feb 5, May 21, Jun 18, Jul 9, Aug 20, Sep 17, Oct 15, Nob 19, & Dec 17
・Place: The National Museum of Nature and Science, Ueno, Tokyo
・Participants : Elementary school children
・Program: Hands-on chemical experiments
・Expected number of participants: About 600 (annually)
