Trend Report & Seminars for the International Design industry and Design students including a trend entitled 'Chemical Reaction' for the season Spring/Summer 2011 that is hugely influenced by 2011 being the IYC and the centenary of Marie Curie's Nobel Prize.

Our Spring/Summer 2011 forecast includes a design trend entitled 'Chemical Reaction' which pivots on 2011 being the International Year of Chemistry, the centenary of Marie Curie's Noble Prize for Radiology and a number of other Science related issues e.g. the growing importance and influence of Biomimicry etc...

We are very keen to use our trend report and the seminars we give at international design exhibitions and trade shows (e.g. Decorex - London, Index - Dubai, Surfaces - Las Vegas) to let the design industry know about The International Year of Chemistry and to encourage a creative interest in Chemistry as a source of inspiration.

We also work with University design students in the UK and overseas (e.g. Dubai) providing them with an understanding of how design trends are forecast and what the coming trends are. The vast majority of the students we lecture and tutor are female and we are keen to highlight the amazing work of women (past, present & future) in the field of Chemistry and the contributions they have made to major advances that benefit our modern lives. We believe this will be inspirational to the young female students we work with.
