annual symposium with international participation
Sustaining on a long term the chemistry activity, Syscom18 organizes as well an annual event recognised at international level: the Contemporary Chemistry Conferences, a symposium with international participation. Despite difficulties generated by the financial and economic crisis the last year Conferences took place, so we could talk - with respect for the organizers - about the fourth consecutive edition. Among participants there were personalities of the scientific landscape: Dr. Peter Philip, Prof. Dr. Wais Mir Hosseini, Acad. Marius Andruh and Acad. Bogdan Simionescu. They presented lectures and we mention the one of Professor Hosseini entitled "Molecular tectonics: structural units of crystalline architectures".
And a few years ago, the Nobel laureate Jean-Marie Lehn opened Contemporary Chemistry Conferences in Bucharest.
The event consists also of the awarding ceremony for the best articles published in two of the most appreciated Romanian scientific journals: "Journal of Chemistry" and "Plastics".
This year the event will take place on the 24th of June
