The Gordon Research Seminar on Microfluidics, Physics & Chemistry of is a unique forum for graduate students, post-docs, and other scientists with comparable levels of experience and education to present and exchange new data and cutting edge ideas. The focus of this meeting is to explore the latest advances concerning the use of microfluidics in the clinical field, with a large focus on patient-bedside diagnostics, personalized medicine, and treatment monitoring. Topics will include, but are not limited to the following: low-cost devices; rapid diagnostics; cell isolation and characterization; fluidic control; personalized medicine; assay development; biomarker detection; and drug metabolite monitoring.
