The conference is held under the auspices of the International Adsorption Society (IAS) and is hosted in rotation by the US, Japan and Europe. The conference is attended by researchers in adsorption and related fields from throughout the World. Many of the attendees are Chemical Engineers but there are also large numbers of Chemists, Physicists and members of other disciplines. Moreover the level of industrial participation is high.
