After a very successful first meeting in March 2011, I am delighted to invite you to the 2nd Congress on Steroid Research, which will once again be held at Westin Chicago River North Hotel, Chicago, USA, between 10-12 March, 2013. As with the first Congress of Steroid Research, we will address state-of-the-art approaches in the molecular basis of steroid-related common human diseases, this time with sessions on cancer, reproduction and menopause, inflammation and neurosteroids. The meeting will reflect the interdisciplinary nature of steroid research, involving aspects of analytics, chemistry, biology, medicine, bioinformatics and drug discovery. There will be ample time to enjoy 2 keynote lectures, 16 plenary lectures, 24 short oral presentations (chosen from the poster submissions) and interactive poster discussions during the coffee sessions.
