About:

I developed interest in chemistry while in the secondary school and that made me choose to study Education/Chemistry in the university both at the undergraduate and post graduate levels where I obtained B.Sc Ed(Chemistry) and M.Sc Ed(Chemistry) from the University of Nigeria Nsukka in 1989 and the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka in 1998 respectively.Since 1992 I have been teaching Chemistry at the Federal College of Education (Technical) Umunze.

My specific interest in the IYC 2011 is in helping the young ones appreciate Chemistry and develop interest in it. This will involve making them value the experimental nature of Chemistry as well the interconnectedness between Chemistry and our everyday living.
