About:

I have BSc. in Organic Chemistry(1989), MS.c. polymer Chemistry (1998) and PhD in Environmental Fire Chemistry(2005). I am a Life member of Chemical Society of Nigeria and a member of Institute of Chartered Chemistry of Nigeria(ICCON). My major area of research interest is environmental green chemistry.

My specific interest in IYC, 2011 is that it is a forum to make chemistry known to rural community, primary, secondary and tertiatary institutions. It will help to address the issue of environental problems such as pollution and climate changes. It is another opportunity of making women to be interested in chemistry. My main interest s in IYC2011 are that it help to increase the public appreciation of chemistry in meeting world needs, to encourage interest in chemistry among young people, and to generate enthusiasm for the creative future of chemistry.
