About:

I am a current undergraduate chemistry student studying for my MChem at The University of Sheffield. During my spare time at university I have set up www.chemistry-degree.co.uk which is designed to be a comprehensive and completely free website for a-level students considering pursuing a chemistry degree at university.

When I was studying for a-levels my plan was always to read computer science at university. However, the infectious enthusiasm of my chemistry teachers eventually meant that I chose to read chemistry. Choosing a university course can be daunting, and my interest in the IYC 2011 is to encourage students who are about to enter university to strongly consider reading a degree in chemistry.
