About:

I have always had interest in Chemistry right from the secondary school which informed my choice of Chemistry as a career. I obtained the Nigeria certificate in Education NCE Chemistry-Biology from Lagos state College of education Otto-Ijanikin in 1989,after which I proceeded for my first degree in Chemistry Education from Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) Awka between 1990-1992.My interest in Chemistry made me to futher my career in pure and Industrial Chemistry depertment UNIZIK Awka. I obtained my M.Sc from the said University in 2007. Presently I'm pursuing my Ph.D programme in Analytical Chemistry at Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike, Abia state Nigeria.I am a lecturer in Federal College of Education (Tech) Umunze where I have been teaching Chemistry from 1995-date.

My interest in the IYC2011 is in encouraging young students to develop interest in Chemistry, Chemical Analysis and Environmental Chemistry.
