About:

I coordinate a science network in the North East called STEAM (science and technology education around museums). We are a group of museums, galleries, science centres, schools, universities and other science education providers across the region.

I am interested in IYC because it would be good to create joint projects and raise awareness of it through the network. We are holding our February meeting at the School of Chemistry at Newcastle University to start some ideas generation.

I am interested in exploring how chemistry activities for formal and informal audiences could be developed through museums and galleries in particular.
