I am carrying out my habilitation at the vienna University of Technology, where I started a new thematic dedicated to the coordination of nanoaprticles by the means of imidazolium linkers.

this project belongs to an emerging community and for this reason I am organizing a 2-days symposium in Vienna in order to better link the actors of this new community. The conference is called IL Mat 2011 (ionic liquid based materials).

This scientists community is working for the devlopment of new materials and is thus an important actor is the devlopment of the chemistry of the next years.

In addition to this I try by this to insists on the non negligeable role of women in science. I am young women starting a scientific carrier and one of the conference speaker is a young senior scientist from PAris.

These aspects of the conference, new chemistry field and women in science, are strongly in accordance to the IYC 2011. For this reason we would be glade to may use the logo and make this conference more visible for the scientific community.
