Quality. I ad been using pesticides to protect raw and processed food form the attack of pests. The topic of my PhD research project was "Phytosanitary management of Trogoderma granarium Evetrs with methyl bromide alternatives to ensure Food Security and Safety". My intention is to explore the potential of non-conventional chemicals in food and agricultural sector that have either zero or negligible harm effects on the food chain and ecosystem. In my studies I have explored the impact of Nitrogen, Carbon dioxide, extreme temperature as alternatives to the methyl bromide. During the year 2008, I joined the University as Deputy Director Quality Control where I performed my duties to enhance quality of teaching and research at various colleges working under the university. During this period I carried out self-assessment of various department and colleges through paper based and online surveys, focus groups etc. Lateran I joined the King Saud University where I am performing multifarious duties including QMR for ISO, editing of Annual program report, Program Specifications, Self Study Reports, KPIs and Couse files relating to NCAAA and other International Accreditation Agency’s requirements. In the future I am planning to initiate studies on precise effect of modern toxic molecules on food and human health. I hope my future projects will lead me to explore safer molecules which will conserve nature by protecting human, animals and the environment.
