I am a Food Chemist and I teach in Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, in Food Chemistry as well as in CESSA, in Gastronomy and Culinary Arts.
I am very enthusiastic about increasing public and student's appreciation and understanding of chemistry, specially in Gastronomy Scholl since in Chemistry School, student's are already as interested as to make a career on it.
With other chemist colleagues teaching to gastronomy students, we are pointing out important contributions of chemistry to food art, trough the year and specially on Expo-ideas, the term event on which students show ther innovative products, developed trough integrate work between culinary and scientific courses. This events will be held on April 27th and November 16th, 2011.
