I'm a fresh graduate of BS Chemistry from the University of Santo Tomas and a newly registered chemist. I'm very interested on how to simplify chemistry concepts to high school students and also in microscale chemistry. With regard to research, I am interested with the field of nanotechnology, specifically nanomaterials and biomaterials. IYC 2011 will help the Philippines increase awareness in chemistry and how it can help people -- chemists and non-chemists alike. It will also make the government aware that chemistry is a booming field of science.
