About:

I train scientists in Bioinformatics, also in Cheminformatics, through a training programme GTPB) at the Instituto Gulbenkian de Ciência.

In this scope I encourage young people to find scientific interests in the interface of Chemistry/Biology and Information Sciences

I teach Bioinformatics and Computational Biology at the Instituto Superior Técnico, Universidade Técnica de Lisboa, Portugal. Other courses on demand.

I am also interested in enhancing the public awareness of Science. I write papers and make public addresses on this subject.
