About:

Having a chemical background (BS 1977, PhD 1983, UCM Madrid) I have developed my career in the field of Chemical Physics and, in the last 23 years, in the field of Plasma Wall Interactions in Fusion research. At present, I am one of the very few chemists working in this kind of Energy, with an overwhelming presence of Physicists and Engineers. I have proposed several applications of chemistry to the solution of long standing problems in Fusion research. I will be pleased to spread the knowledge acquired during my chemical education and how chemistry can help in a very different physical scenario as it is that of a Fusion Reactor.
