CIFAL Findhorn, the United Nations Institute of Training and Research Associated Training Centre for Northern Europe, is planning to hold a conference in Spring on the International Year of Chemistry to explore Chemistry's major role in developing alternative energy sources and in sustainably feeding the world’s growing population. Aimed at participants from both the public and private sectors the conference will celebrate the achievements of chemistry and its contributions to the well-being of humanity.
