About:

I am a chemistry lecturer in a tertiary institution. Chemistry has been a subject I loved in my secondary school days more so I because of the teacher who taught me . He literally demystified science for me and related it to everyday life activities. I also want to help in making chemistry a subject to be loved by the young ones and for them to see that ,as we say in ICCON, that there is nothing on earth that is not chemistry - not forgetting the human body which for me is an interesting chemical industry that is environmentally friendly and so on...

My specific interest in the IYC 2011 is to know what chemists are doing to sensitize ourselves and the public on the need for chemistry to be practiced bearing in mind its benefits and hazards on the community we live in and the world at large.

I am happy being a chemist.
