About:

I am a Nigerian Chartered Chemist (Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Chemists of Nigeria -ICCON- a Member of the Chemical Society of Nigeria, CSN and American Chemical Society) and Academic teaching and doing research in Analytical and Environmental Chemistry. I am currently serving as Acting National Secretary of CSN. My interest in IYC is a combination the personal and corporate: I am thrilled that Chemistry has received this recognition and that my national society (CSN) is leveraging on it to bring into focus the role chemistry is playing and could further play in our national life/economy. I am hoping that more young will make the choice to pursue a career in chemistry.
