About:

I'm a Chemistry and Polymer Chemistry Professor at the Federal University of Ouro Preto in Brazil. I'm also a member of the Subcommittee of Polymer Terminology of the Polymer Division from IUPAC. As a chemistry lecturer and researcher, I'm always trying to foster the students appreciation of chemistry and to show how important this science is in our daily life. I think the IYC is a great opportunity for everybody involved with chemistry to increase the interest of both the students and the general public in chemistry.
