I am a research chemist turned high school chemistry educator (20a) employed in Edmonton Public Schools for virtually my entire career. I recently co-authored a province wide high school chemistry resource, Inquiry into Chemistry. I

n my roles as the local section Chemical Institute of Canada executive Public Schools Liason and NCW coordinator, I have been working with Frank Florian at Edmonton's TELUS World of Science to offer two major science/chemistry exhibits during IYC.

The local section of the CIC and TELUS World of Science, are planning a Science Rendezvous event (May 7, 2011) and yet another exciting NCW event (3rd week of October 2011) at the TELUS World facility.
