To celebrate the International Year of Chemistry, short educational video films will be posted on Nobelprize.org, the official web site the Nobel Prize. In this compilation of videos called “Chemistry Matters”, 15 Nobel Laureates discuss new frontiers in their field and explore what a life as a chemist entails. They also describe the beauty inherent in chemistry and recall the eureka moments when they discovered ‘a little logic of nature’.

Designed for students aspiring to a career in chemistry, these videos also pay tribute and celebrate the International Year of Chemistry 2011.
