About:

I have been working as associate Professor of Chemistry at Central Department of Chemistry, Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu, Nepal. I am a life member of Nepal Chemical Society (NCS) in which I had an opportunity to serve as General Secretary for two terms (2006-2010). I am the founder Chairperson of Nepal Polymer Institute (NPI), a professional organization dedicated to education, research and utilization of Polymer Chemistry and related areas in Nepal.

Working together with Chemists of Nepal and abroad hand in hand in the field of education and research in various disciplines of Chemistry, to celebrate the International Year of Chemistry 2011 (IYC 2011), we direct our endeavours to popularize chemistry and utilize it for the benefit of our society. We plan to celebrate IYC 2011 in Nepal with various programs whereby POLYCHAR 19 (March 20-24, 2011) will be an important international event.
