I have done M.Sc and M.Phil in chemistry from Institute of Chemistry , University of the Punjab , Lahore , Pakistan.Now i am working as scientific officer in the Pakistan Council of Scientific and Industrial Research , a public sector R & D organization.I have a deep interest in the field of chemistry. Chemistry is no doubt a wonderfull subject which covers all the aspects of the whole universe and life.It's very exciting for a person related to chemistry that 2011 has been declared as the international year of chemistry. IYC 2011 provides a better oppertunity for chemists around the world to share their achievements and future advancements in the field of chemistry. I especially appereciate the IYC 2011 perspective regarding encouragement of young people in chemistry and the role of women in chemistry. In Pakistan the future of chemistry is very bright as the academic and research organizations are playing a very important role in this regard. Women are also activily participating in the field of chemistry. I would like to appreciate the Iyc motto and interests.
