I am a faculty member at the department of chemistry, Chulalongkorn University.

Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, Chulalongkorn University has planned a variety of activities to join the celebration of the International Year of Chemistry. These activities are set up in order to communicate about the IYC, the important role of chemistry in life, and the significant contributions of women in chemistry to general audience, especially to students in primary school to university. Activities include exhibitions, laboratory tours, chemical magic stage show, Chemistry-Got-Talent competition, ‘Chemistry for Life and Future’ photo contest, chemistry challenge for high school students, and entertaining but educating chemistry games.

This event is a part of Chula-Vichakarn 2011 or CU Academic Expo 2011, the triennial campus-wide open houses at Chulalongkorn University. The activities and exhibitions will be running from 8 am to 6 pm during 23-27 November 2011. For more information, please visit www.chemistry.sc.chula.ac.th.
