The people has large knowledge that chemistry is in everything. But many persons don't know to make relations between the processes that occur daily in Nature with the chemistry concepts. However, chemistry can be demystified and become easy by developing activities that show aplications of chemistry concepts. So, people can understand and use chemistry concepts to help them improve the quality of life.

Therefore, we are proposing Semana de Química da UNEB 2011 (The Week of Chemistry of the UNEB 2011) this event has the objective to show and discussing any subjects about chemistry and another interface areas.
