Chemistry and Society Forum is an organization whose mission is to promote the knowledge and development of Chemistry, the science that most contributes and will contribute to improving the quality and life expectancy of our society. Among members are the main Spanish entities on academic, scientific, business and professional areas, which include the Scientific Research Council (CSIC), the Spanish Royal Society of Chemistry (RSEQ), the Spanish National Association of Chemists (ANQUE), Spanish Chemical Industry Federation (FEIQUE), the Spanish Conference of Deans of Chemistry (CEDQ), the General Council of Chemists of Spain, the Federation of Industry and Agricultural Workers (FITAG-UGT), the Federation of Textile and Leather, Chemical and Allied of CC.OO (FITEQA-CCOO) and the International Chemical Exhibition Exhibition Expoquimia, from Fira de Barcelona.
On IYC2011, FORO QUÍMICA Y SOCIEDAD will carry out 20+ commemorative actions regarding Society (general scope), Education, Science and Industry, as well and Meetings with top industry and government representatives.
