About:

Dear partner societies, I am a lecturer in chemistry serving at ASD Government Degree college for women,kakinada,India. I have been teaching chemistry for B.Sc women students. As our college is located in rural area, More than eighty percent of our students are from Rural background and Socially-Economically weaker sections.

Being a chemist ,and to bring the importance of IYC-2011to the young minds of women students, I am planning to organize a seminar on "ROLE OF CHEMISTRY VIS A VIS WOMEN EMPOWERMENT".Hoping, this would encourage and motivate the women student community to join chemistry and popularise chemistry both at the National as well as at the Global level.
