About:

BioPhysChem2011, a joint meeting of the RACI Physical Chemistry Division and the Australian Society for Biophysics. This meeting will bring together scientists from a range of disciplines to showcase research developments while providing a collegial atmosphere for scientific exchange.

The conference will be held on campus at the University of Wollongong in Wollongong from Dec 3rd to 6th, 2011. The city of Wollongong, located about 80 km south of Sydney, is surrounded by the Illawarra Escarpment on one side and the Pacific Ocean on the other - a fantastic location for a meeting, especially at this time of year.

In conjunction with BioPhysChem2011 a Workshop of Computational Chemistry will be held on 2nd-3rd of Dec, also at University of Wollongong. This will feature hands-on tutorials using modern electronic structure methods and "master-class" sessions.
