About:

I am an assistant professor of Chemistry at Caregie Mellon and have developed courses and workshops using a food context to teach chemistry. Content can be tailored to small children, high school students, to college freshman and non-science majors as well as chemistry majors and students who have taken organic chemistry.

We are now invited to do an exhibition as part of an art festival and this is a great opportunity to communicate chemistry directly to the public.

The context of food can be used to explain science and also relate to non-food science and research as well.
