Dr Vicki Gardiner is the Coordinator for the RACI Inc International Year of Chemistry working group. The working group will be coordinating with RACI Branches, Divisions and other stakeholders to deliver the objectives of the International Year of Chemistry throughout Australia using the extensive RACI network.

The RACI Inc represents over 5000 scientists working in chemistry related areas across academia, government and industry sectors. It has 13 discipline aligned Divisions and has Branches in every state and territory in Australia. For more information see the organisation's website www.raci.org.au.

Vicki is the Manager - Innovation and Product Development at Marinova Pty Ltd, an Australian biotechnology company focused on developing innovative medical and nutritional products from marine plants. She is currently the South-Eastern Representative on the RACI Board and will be the Honorary General Secretary from 2010 - 2011.
