About:

My relation to chemistry is that I studied environmental analytical chemistry during my PhD studies, analytical chemistry during my masters studies and during my undergraduate studies I did chemistry, biology and education as major courses.

My specific interests in the IYC are:

- increase public awareness and appreciation of chemistry to the society as we are planning to organize an annual event under the Tanzania Chemical Society so that government ministries and agencies will be involved in showing what they are doing in their daily activities and how chemistry affects the daily life of people.

- we are planning to organize a regional workshop and pre training for the chemists to meet and discuss various issues of concern wit regard to chemistry in life.
